Bristol Personal Licence Course

If you are looking to obtain your personal alcohol licence and live in the Bristol area then our one-day alcohol licensing law could be ideal for you. We hold regular courses every month in the City of Bristol for the alcohol licensing qualification knows as the Award for Personal Licence Holders (APLH) level 2.

This accredited licensing law qualification which is awarded by BIIAB will allow you to apply to your relevant Licensing Authority for a Personal Licence upon successful completion of a qualifying examination. The examination paper is multiple choice, and the pass mark is 70%

All exams are undertaken at the end of the training day. Our APLH level 2 courses start at 9 am and conclude around 5 pm which includes time for the examination.

Applying for your personal licence

Once you have achieved your qualification you will then be ready to apply for your personal licence. A personal alcohol licence is granted by the local Council where you reside. The department is known as the Licensing Authority, who oversees licensing in their local area.

Our expert licensing team can apply for a personal licence on your behalf if you select or full licence option when booking your course.
